LIVTOSHARE

the courage to be authentic

✨ This week's quote:

This week's life update: I've been in my luteal phase this week, and as some of you know, I'm in the process of getting diagnosed with endometriosis. My naturopath has been incredibly helpful in helping me find remedies to help manage period pains. Here's what's been helping me:

  • Ginger capsules for inflammation reduction

  • Magnesium as a natural muscle relaxant

  • Raspberry leaf tea (love the taste too!)

✨ This week's reflection: I have been loving LinkedIn!!  (I can’t believe I’d ever say that?) Just a few months of consistently putting myself out there has led to unexpected opportunities and meaningful connections. It's vulnerable to share your journey publicly, but I've found that it can be such a great tool for reflection by documenting where we are, our reflections, and the people in each moment of our evolution. By sharing more of ourselves, we create opportunities for others to connect and join us on our journey.

This week's advocacy highlight: I got to join the inaugural Women's Health Advocates kickoff call, led by Liz Powell. This monthly initiative brings together advocates from across the country to drive policy changes. I’ve been sensing a lot of heavy energy lately from the community, around the uncertainty and changes from the impact of the current administration on women’s health. While there’s chaos and confusion, the strategy is noise right now. For our own sanity, focusing on what is in front of us, and knowing that we have adapted before and we’ll continue to do so in community to move innovation forwards. I believe coming together, and supporting one another in the community is more important than ever!

✨ This week's journal prompt: Where in my life am I holding back from sharing my authentic journey? Why? What fears are keeping me from being more visible and what opportunities might I be missing out because of them? If I were to be more visible, how might I share in a way that feels meaningful and authentic to me?
